Roll the Dice

Icebreaker Activity

 

 

Class Size:  From 5 to 25 (depending on available time)

 

Materials Needed:  Sets of dice (enough for at least one at each participant table)

 

Time required: 15 minutes (depending on group size) – allow about 90 seconds per person.

 

Instructions:

 

Distribute one or two dice to each table (or group) of participants.  Each person should then roll the dice and tell one thing about himself or herself for the number rolled on the dice.  For example, if they roll a 4 they must tell 4 things about themselves.

 

This activity can also be structure as a learning reinforcement and review activity.  Instead of asking participants to tell about themselves, have each one roll the dice (or each table as a group activity) and tell one important thing about the topic just covered.
