Identify theories regarding the causes and characteristics of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.
	Recognize and describe signs of psychosis.

	Describe and give examples of types of hallucinations experienced by some psychotic patients.
	Design interventions to assist psychotic patients to:

a) decrease levels of anxiety

b) increase social skills

c) decrease confusion

d) decrease hallucinations

e) improve skills of reality testing
